How Metropolix works: add your startup in five steps
Five steps from an invitation to a building on your own street.
1. Join
Join with the invite code from your invitation. You give your startup name and website, then your name and email, and confirm it from a link we send. One startup, one account.
2. Add your startup
Explore the map, pick an open space you like (prime spots sit on Founders Street, AI Avenue and the main corners), choose a plan and add your startup. Payment is by card through Stripe, charged in pounds. Your space is held for you while you pay.
3. Build
Your space gets a building. Add your logo, tagline, tags and website, choose the building and roof colours, and show your name, logo and what you do on its three faces. Add products, services, updates and offers for visitors.
4. Connect
Visitors open your profile from the map, like it and, if they are members, leave a review. Neighbours on your block are a click away.
5. Grow
Metropolix ranks startups by visits and likes. A Startup Fortune feature on your startup is included with annual plans. Change your card, see your invoices or cancel at any time from Account.
The rules of Metropolix
- Every space keeps one empty grid square to its neighbours, so buildings never crowd.
- Parks, squares and common places are never for sale; they are what makes it a place.
- Reviews come from signed-in members only, never on your own space.
