Metropolix roadmap: what is live and what is next
Phases are directions, not promises. Live now is live; everything else can change.
Live now
- The map: streets, avenues, blocks, parks, a river, traffic and people, running on phones and laptops.
- Accounts: invite code, confirmed email, sign in, password reset and an Account panel.
- Three plans: Startup, Rising and Head Quarters, with monthly and annual billing by card, and Landmark by request.
- Your space: choose an open spot, design your building, and take your address at checkout.
- Your building and profile: name, logo, colours, tagline, about, products, services, updates and offers.
- A public page for every startup, plus a Startups directory.
- Likes, member reviews, a ranking, and Trustpilot and Google links.
- A Startup Fortune feature included with annual plans.
- Updates (this blog), a contact form, and the legal pages.
Phase 1: the Founders Area (now)
The first 99 startups, by invitation, one startup and one address each, with Startup Fortune holding a space of its own.
- Checkout open to invited founders.
- Startup verification beyond the confirmed email.
- A building drafted by Metropolix's AI from a few words about your startup, inside your plan's limits.
- A badge you can put on your own website.
- Curated invitations from Startup Fortune.
Phase 2: open to every founder
- Metropolix opens to every founder, not only by invitation.
- Floors inside buildings with real content: team, products, jobs, events and offers.
- Neighbours and introductions on your street.
- Street events and a daily feed.
- A leaderboard based on activity, not price.
- More life on the streets: more people, vehicles and animation.
Phase 3: the economy
- A marketplace to rent or sell a space.
- Commerce: startups sell products and services inside their building.
- Visitor accounts that can comment, use services and claim offers.
- Advertising on landmarks.
Phase 4: expansion
- New streets and districts opening outward from the centre.
- The founding startups work closely with the Startup Fortune team on building and expanding Metropolix.
- More civic buildings and common places: an exchange, a conference centre, a station.
